We hope that the development and advancement of knowledge will continue to be studied by the Islamic community, especially in Riau and Indonesia,” he said.
With the new government and support from the people of Riau, he hopes that Muslims in Riau, Indonesia, and throughout the world will continue to support waqf as a revived Islamic heritage.
“This waqf has great potential to become a foundation for development not only in Riau and Indonesia, but also throughout Asia and the world. May this synergy bring blessings to us all and be a concrete step in strengthening the role of waqf for the benefit of the community,” he hoped.
In his remarks, the Chairman of BPH Umri, Prof. Dr. M. Nazir, MA, conveyed Umri’s commitment to continue developing educational facilities through the waqf method.
